Paper craft project no. 416: Just be you one layer card

Popping by to share a card I made for Time Out. It's the Inspired by Words challenge and for the next couple of weeks, we'd like to see projects inspired by this line from a John Lennon song: Love is the flower you've got to let grow. Now that's one line that can be taken in many, many directions.

I went with one of the words in the line -- flower -- and created my one layer card. I stamped the large zinnia in HA yellow ink and then re-stamped it in a darker color to create that offset, retro look. Added a little bit of contrast by stamping the grungy splatter stamp in HA ultra pink. I stamped the butterflies and sentiment in black. Finished the card by rounding one corner.

Check out the cards the team + guest designer Valentyna made and then link up your own inspired by words project. Sponsoring the challenge is Clearly Besotted.

Thanks for stopping by! Don't forget to smile :o)
