Popping by to share a card as a reminder that there's still a week left to join us at Time Out Challenges! We'd love to see Christmas projects, and if you're in the mood...the optional twist is pink and/or purple. Joining the TO girls as guest designer is the talented Suchi. The challenge is sponsored by Uniko Studio.
I went with a clean and simple (but still grungy/artsy) one layer card. I stamped and masked the framed poinsettia in black before stamping the splatter and script in pink. I added a little more interest to the framed poinsettia by stamping the grungy border to make a second frame. I finished the card by stamping the sentiment.
Fun challenges:
- Addicted to Stamps #169 - Clean and Simple
- Crafting by Designs - November Anything Goes
Thanks for stopping by! Don't forget to smile :o)

ReplyDeleteWell, hello there!! So wonderful to see Kathryn is letting you create a few cards here and there and its lovely to have you back with us. This is a real 'one-layer wonder' and I love the effect with the extra frame around the image. My daughter Phoebe and I can't stop watching the photo of Kathryn getting her hair brushed, its so gorgeous. And I bet she kept an eye on you while you made this too!! So glad you joined us at ATSM too!!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back to Time Out Shery! I love all the elements of this card - especially the grungy border around the poinsettia - so perfect! Jill
ReplyDeleteGreat to see you back, Shery ... and with such a striking card ... the monochrome image with that wonderful swoosh of colour is fabulous! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteGrunge never looked so good, Shery. I love the pink 'background' with the double framed poinsettia. Thanks for sharing this at ATSM this week.
