Paper craft project no. 483: Always

Hello! Last week, a new challenge started at Time Out. This time around we're to CASE a card and put our own twist to our creation. We are CASE-ing this beautiful card by Ksenija of Sweet Kobylkin.

I took my cue from the non-white card base, stamped background, and panel. First I stamped the stitched pocket stamp from the Pocket Blooms stamp and die set (an NBUS and newly released too) all over my taupe card base. Then I die-cut my panel using the CUTplorations ATC Tag Builder and Art Edges dies, die-cut the stitched pocket from designer paper, stamped the daisies onto white cardstock, colored with Tombow brush markers, and fussy cut them. For my sentiment, I die-cut "always" (one of the 5 new love-themed CUTplorations dies, another NBUS) twice in the same card stock as my card base to finish the card.

Check out the cards the team + guest designer Marjan made and then link up your own project inspired by Ksenija's card. There is still a week left to play. Sponsoring this challenge is Happy Little StampersWe can't wait to see your creations!

Paper craft project no. 482: Warm winter wishes...again

Popping by with a card I made for the new challenge over at AAA Cards. The lovely Jane invited me to join her and her team as STAMPlorations is sponsoring. For the next two weeks, the theme is winter chill.

For my card, I stamped my image (Framed Cardinal) on white card stock and colored it with Tombow brush markers and white gel pen for the snow/highlights. I created the torn notebook edge using one of the edge dies in the CUTplorations Art Edges set and then I trimmed it down to size before adhering to my taupe card base. Then I die-cut the sentiment (CUTplorations Warm Winter Wishes) on white card stock and adhered it to finish the card.

I hope you'll join Jane and her team and link up your  clean and simple cards based on the theme. The winner will receive 2 of the products I used in my card: the Framed Cardinal stamp and the CUTplorations Warm Winter Wishes die.

Thank you, Jane, for having me over and letting me in on the fun!

Paper craft project no. 481: Warm winter wishes

Hello! Sharing a card for the current challenge at Time Out. There is still a week left to play over there. It's a winter theme with the optional technique twist of white on white.

I went with the theme and partially did the twist as you can see with the white card base and white die-cut sentiment skipped. I stamped the snowman, postage stamp, and postmark (from Gone Postal) and used Tombow dual brush pens to color. Then I die-cut the sentiment (CUTplorations Warm Winter Wishes word die) and adhered it to the card base. I finished the card by rounding one corner.

Check out the cards that the TO team + guest designer Claire made and then come play with us. Uniko is sponsoring the challenge.

My best ever treasure

Well now. This girl up and went and stole my heart...again. Every time my little girl looks up and smiles at me, I feel invincible and my heart swells up with immense pride and joy.

How someone like me ever was given such a precious gift is something I'll never be able to understand, but I accept it with my whole heart.

My best ever achievement. My best ever treasure.

Happy 2017, fellow creatives! I hope your year is as great as mine already is.

Thanks for stopping by! Don't forget to smile :o)
