Paper craft project no. 323: You're an awesome friend one layer card

Hello! Here's a CAS one layer card I made using a fun stenciling technique. I used a stencil I designed plus drywall tape :o) You'll find my step-by-step photo tutorial for this card over at the STAMPlorations blog.

My card also serves as a reminder card for the current challenge over at The Mixed Media Card Challenge, where this month's theme is "new" (I made this card for a new friend). In addition to stamps and inks, I used a stencil, drywall tape, and watercolor brush markers so the card meets the basic definition of a mixed media card as explained here. Hope you can play with us -- there's still over a week left to play!

Linking up my card to these fun challenges:
  1. Virginia's View Challenge #11 - Clean Slate
  2. Less is More #206 - One Layer Cards, New Beginnings (this card is going to a new friend!)
  3. Addicted to Stamps and More #127 - Make Your Mark (I used a watercolor brush pen and sponges)
  4. Just Us Girls #275 - Trend Week: Stencil

Thanks so much for stopping by!
