It's the second day of the STAMPlorations October stamp release blog hop and this time, we're showcasing the HOPE BLOOMS set I designed.
With a 7-week-old baby that demands 100% of my time, I have to be even faster with my crafting (when I do happen to have 10-15 minutes to spare -- and those spare minutes are very few and far in between) so I've had to stick to a minimal color palette, few supplies, and plain stamping. And this very orange-y one layer card is the result. Stamped the framed butterflies, loosely colored it with Japanese watercolor brush pens before masking it, stamped the background in a frenzy with stamps from the Mixed Media Elements set, and finally stamped the sentiments. Got the card done before the hubby finished feeding our little one, who always wants mommy right after :o)
Check out what the rest of the STAMPlorations girls made! You'll find links to all our projects here. Comment on the projects and you could win one of several prizes.
Plus...we have a Flash Fall Flowers Linky Party! Link up a new project that has flowers in it and you could be one of the 3 winners of a stamp set from the October release! The linky is open until Sunday, October 25. For the details, click here.

Wow those flutterbys are bright! Hope even those 10 minutes of stamping give you a little reprieve from the stressful life of a young momma. Hugs to you all.

Oh my word! You created that in only 10-15 minutes! I really don't know how you do it, lol, but you must be the quickest stamper ever. The background looks like it took a lot longer and would love a tutorial or two for how you create these so quickly and make them look so effortlessly too. Thanks for the blog hop and for sharing your gorgeous work with us Karen x

Shery, you have created such a beautiful stamp set and showcased it with the most stunning card. I love how you are embracing even the small pockets of time you get to spend in the craft room, and find ways to work around it, whereas others would just think there is no time to create and give up. I think sometimes going back to basics can really focus your creative energy, and your card is such a perfect example. Lots of hugs to you and your little princess.
