It's the third day of the Spring Fling 12 Days of Giveaway over at STAMPlorations. Every day for 12 days, we're giving away one prize to one lucky crafter who hops and leaves comments on the STAMPlorations blog and participating designers' blogs.
Yep, you guessed it...I am back with another one layer card. What can I say...it's my favorite card to make (plus I am lousy at creating cards with real layers!). I partially stamped the Coffee Cup Parade border stamp and did some faux collage stamping using my go-to grungy-artsy stamps, Mixed Media Grunge and Art Marks. I "colored" the cups with splatter stamps (Art Marks) and finished the card with a sentiment from Bloomin' Spring Coffee Basket.
Have fun with the hop -- commenting closes on April 19, with winners announced on April 22.
Thanks for stopping by! Don't forget to smile :o)
OK, how long does it take for you to come up with your design?? Do you always get it right first time??? This is just so beautiful. I have a tinsy tiny bit of CAS envy. It's so crisp and clean and full of fun details. Hugz
ReplyDeletethis one took less than 10 minutes...was stamping like crazy and just went with gut feel. (i find if i spend too much time thinking about a card's design, i end up with something that i don't like or looks like a mess.) i was hurrying because Winter was screaming "mamaaaaaaaa, mamaaaaaa, mamaaaaaa" from her pen. she's been having some serious mama separation anxiety the last couple of months. can't even walk to my "office" that's only a few feet away from the pen without her crying like she's being abandoned. also can't spend much time coloring images the proper way and i have to keep my color choices limited so many of my cards of late have just 2 or 3 colors (usually orange, yellow, black). thank you for the kind words!!
DeleteThanks. I can't usually make quick cards. Maybe I am thinking too much LOL. Love this. Hugz
