I'm sharing another graphic one layer card, which seems to be the style I'm gravitating towards lately -- mainly because it's quick and requires minimum supplies. I sponged Distress inks (spiced marmalade, mustard seed, and broken china) over the Tribal Swirls stencil and traced some of those with a black gel pen. Then I stamped my sentiment (from Hashtag Authentic and Bold Sentiments: Cherish) and finished the card by creating a border using a red Japanese watercolor brush pen. And the card's done :o)
Today's the last day to hop with the STAMPlorations girls and get the chance to win some awesome ARTplorations stencils! The fun stencil blog hop starts here. You can also link up projects where you used stencils to the flash stencil project linky party by May 31. And make sure to check out this post for info on the free stencil promo and Memorial Day free worldwide shipping special.
Linking up to these fun challenges:
- Simon Says Anything Goes
- 4 Crafty Chicks #248 - Summer (I used bright summer colors and those swirls look summery)
Thanks for stopping by! Don't forget to smile :o)
