Paper craft project no. 366: Nativity one layer card

Hello! It's time for a new challenge over at the One Layer Christmas Card Challenge. It's always anything goes as long as the Chriatms card is a one layer. The optional twist is "stars". Check out the cards that the OLCCC design team made and then play along :o)

To make my card, I brayered blue acrylic paints on my Gelli plate and placed my card base over. Once the paint dried, I dabbed black soot Distress paint through the Nativity Angel stencil and then traced the outline with a white Faber-Castell white PITT artist pen.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Don't forget to smile :o)

  1. Love how you created that background, Shery! Really must play with my Gelli plate! Really like the definition from the white PITT pen!

  2. Beautiful background; you've inspired me to ink up my gelli plate and actually use it! Gorgeous Nativity and card.

  3. A beautiful card, Shery! Love that blue background you created. Fantastic! :-)

  4. LOVE the grunge feel blue background!!

  5. Love how you outlined the silhouette image with the white pen Sherry and the colourful and bright background.

What's on your mind? If you'd like to share, share it with a smile, please :o) Thanks so much for taking the time to visit my blog!
