Paper craft project no. 374: Merry one layer card

My one layer card today is for the current challenge at the One Layer Christmas Card Challenge, where it's always anything one layer Christmas card goes. There's an optional twist: green.

Because of the decluttering and re-organization hubby and I have been doing these past few weeks, the living room where one corner has become my craft space is in shambles and I'm lucky if I can find the supplies I need when I need it. (The good news: I start moving into my travel-trailer-turned-art-studio this week!) I decided to create a card with the optional twist but couldn't find the mistletoe stamp I wanted to use. So I improvised and used non-Christmas stamps (Artsy Border Maker) to create the Christmas tree. I masked the card to create a triangle and then stamped in black ink. Then I took my green Japanese watercolor brush pen and swiped it across my "tree". Last, I stamped the sentiment in red. And the card is done :o)
