grateful tag

Hey! Back with a new project -- this time a tag, as I'm joining the girls in the TAGplorations team over at STAMPlorations for this month's TAGplorations challenge. This month, the theme is Thanksgiving -- or giving thanks/being thankful/grateful (if you don't celebrate the American holiday) -- with the optional twist of polka dots.

I used the pumpkin cover plate die to emboss my stitched tag. For the background, I sponged various DOx inks (ripe persimmon, barn door, mustard seed, tea dye, and ground espresso) and added a subtle highlight on the pumpkin with a white Marabu mixed media crayon. Then I grunged up the tag a little bit by stamping various grunge marks on it. Die-cut the sentiment on kraft card stock four times and stacked them up.

Challenges:

I hope you'll play along this month at the TAGplorations Challenge. Create any project -- just make sure it has a tag (or tags) in it -- and then link up. The challenge closes end of the month. The winner (voted by the design team) will receive a $15 GC to the STAMPlorations store.

Thanks for stopping by! Don't forget to smile :o)
